Effect Of Low Production Of Electricity

As a result of low production of electricity the production in mills and factories are suffering much. Our industries can’t develop as much as we want for this. For want of proper supply of electricity production suffers, mills and factories can’t work properly. Irrigation as a part of agriculture also suffers as water can’t be pumped from rivers, canals, wells etc. Besides its use in mills and factories, irrigation work it is also used for domestic purpose for light, fans, cooking and so on. Its low production has led to load-shedding which we experience everyday. It affects production and causes great suffering to people.
In India there are petroleum fields in different parts especially in Assam. Our geologists are trying to discover new coal mines and petroleum fields inside the country, on seashore and even in sea bed. At present more than 40% of petroleum that we need is obtained in India. A time will come when India will be self-sufficient in petroleum.
As regards to the generation of more electricity, more power plants need to set up. Every year more and more money is being spent for the erection of power plants. We hope to have sufficient electricity in future for the development of industry if more power plants are set up.
